2020 Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang Leaves Democratic Party

“Am I right? Let’s find out. Together,” Yang said.

On Monday, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang announced that he had left the Democratic party and is officially an Independent.

“I changed my voting registration from ‘Democrat’ to ‘Independent’ today. It was a strangely emotional experience,” Yang wrote in a blog post.

Despite being a registered Democrat since the age of 20, Yang wrote, “I’m confident that no longer being a Democrat is the right thing.”

“So why do I feel in my heart that this is the right move?” Yang wrote. “While it was simply a small piece of paperwork, I genuinely felt a shift in my mindset as soon as I signed it.”

Yang explained that the country’s increasing polarization is one of the main reasons he is leaving the party, saying he is “more comfortable trying to fix the system than being a part of it.”

“My goal is to do as much as I can to advance our society. There are phenomenal public servants doing great work every day – but our system is stuck. It is stuck in part because polarization is getting worse than ever,” Yang said. “Many of the people I know are doing all of the good they can – but their impact is constrained. Now that I’m not a member of one party or another, I feel like I can be even more honest about both the system and the people in it.”

“Also, on a personal level, I’ll admit there has always been something of an odd fit between me and the Democratic Party,” Yang added. “I’m not very ideological. I’m practical. Making partisan arguments – particularly expressing what I often see as performative sentiment – is sometimes uncomfortable for me. I often think, ‘Okay, what can we actually do to solve the problem?’ I’m pretty sure there are others who feel the same way I do.”

“I’ve seen politicians publicly eviscerate each other and then act collegial or friendly backstage a few minutes later,” he explained. “A lot of it is theatre.”

Yang concluded by explaining that his main goal is to “have an impact,” not be a politician.

“Recently, in an interview I commented that I wasn’t particularly driven by a desire to hold office. I’m working for impact,” Yang wrote. “Breaking up with the Democratic Party feels like the right thing to do because I believe I can have a greater impact this way.”

“Am I right? Let’s find out. Together,” Yang said.

Not to sure about you. I fairly conservative views although I’m not a conservative all together. I guess I’m more libertarian. I just wanna live my life the I, ME, sees fit. Not how the government sees fit. When the government steps in and says we’re here to help, that’s when everyone should run the opposite direction. The job of the government is to ensure our rights are protected and not being infringed upon, yet that is all this administration, along with the Democratic Party and many rhinos out there have done. We are tired of being bullied and pushed around. I’ve lbeen taking care of myself for decades and I know what’s best for me and as Americans, we all have the right to liberty and the persuit of happiness yet we are denied. Instead we are censored and silenced when we don’t have the same beliefs or view points. There is a sort of sickness infecting our country and consequentially the country is dying from it and NO ONE in any position of power seems to care except for a small handful. Inflation is emptying our bank accounts, we have millions of ppl coming here illegally that we can’t afford to take care and we can’t even take care of the ppl already here. Look at the homelessness. We make all these programs yet no solutions on how to actually help the homeless ppl because a productive member of society in Some capacity. We praised ppl in the summer of 2020 for looting, stealing killing and burning down entire cities while we imprisoned ppl who went to the cap Tirol and only commuted a crime of trespassing but yet treated like animals. Gas is up. Ppl are not working because they are being given obey by the Dems which comes out of the checks of the working class. Schools should not be a place to indoctrinate our children. It’s the job of the parents to teach morales. The schools are supposed to be teaching math and science. We spend tons of money on our education system and yet we are way behind other countries. This idea of equity is ridiculous. Equity is equal outcomes. Equality is equal opportunity. Equity strips society of the drive to strive to be the best and most innovative. While equality nurtures that in our society. That’s why they call it the American dream. Because you have the OPPORTUNITY to strive for better. The state our country is in is why the rest of the world sees us as fat and lazy. How about we drive ppl to be driven. How about we stop talking about race because race should be meaningless other than a difference amongst the ppl’s that we celebrate. How about we stop handing out government checks. How about we lock up criminals and actually rehabilitate them. How about we stop freeing murderers and racists. About about we solve homelessness. How about we encourage respect to our military personnel because these are the ppl who protect us from oppression from other world leaders. How about we up the accountability of teachers and school personnel so that we can ensure that our kids are actually being educated and not indoctrinated. How about we close our borders because a country without borders isn’t a country at all. How about letting the ppl decide for themselves what’s best for their health. And for goodness sake, how about fair elections so the ppl’s voice can be heard instead of allowing cheating. It’s pretty pathetic for anyone to win and have to cheat to do so.

I agree. ONE PARTY owns the politicians, media, academia, Trial Lawyers, Hollywood, NBA, NFL and is systematically destroying the most powerful and beautiful country on the planet. We could solve so many problems in OUR society IF we would stop throwing hundreds of billions of dollars at illegals and other countries who absolutely hate our very existence and wants to see us destroyed. Both sides of the political isle have their problems, but democrats are no longer democrats. Democrats are now about power and wealth for THEMSELVES! Ask yourselves, which party promotes hate for America and American Values? Which party promotes Anti-God everything? Which party promotes fatherless households? Which party promotes indoctrination of you babies? Which party promotes Black on Black, Black on White & Black on Asian crime? Which party promotes Anti-Police sentiments? Which party promotes Anti-military sentiments? Which party promotes Anti-gun sentiments? Which party promotes Anti-constitution sentiments? The list goes on & on! ANY party or group who’s entire purpose is tearing down instead of building up, is a party or group we must abolish from this great nation. If they don’t like America, GET THE HELL OUT!

Trump Says Reports On A Conflict With DeSantis Are ‘Fake News’

Published

Ron DeSantis

During a Fox News interview on Thursday, former President Donald Trump shot down recent reports claiming that there were rising tensions between the former president and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, saying it was “fake news” and that DeSantis has “done a really terrific job in Florida.”

Trump’s comments came in response to an article from The New York Times claiming that Trump had a “long-stewing resentment” toward DeSantis.

“For months, former President Donald J. Trump has been grumbling quietly to friends and visitors to his Palm Beach mansion about a rival Republican power center in another Florida mansion, some 400 miles to the north,” The New York Times wrote. “Gov. Ron DeSantis, a man Mr. Trump believes he put on the map, has been acting far less like an acolyte and more like a future competitor, Mr. Trump complains. With his stock rising fast in the party, the governor has conspicuously refrained from saying he would stand aside if Mr. Trump runs for the Republican nomination for president in 2024.”

Hannity said that he was recently told that DeSantis does not think there has been “any conflict or bickering” between the two and that the report was “total BS” from the mainstream media.

“Is he right?” Hannity asked.

“Well, he is right,” Trump responded. “I get along great with Ron. Ron was very good on the Mueller hoax. He was right up front along with Jim Jordan, and all of the rest of them, they were fantastic. The Republicans really stuck together. And it was a great thing. And Ron was one of them. And Ron wanted to run and I endorsed him. And that helped him greatly.”

“And he went on and he’s done a really terrific job in Florida, and I think you know, Ron has been very good,” Trump continued. “He’s been a friend of mine for a long time. It’s totally fake news. I think Ron said last week, he said it very publicly, he says the press is never going to get in the middle of my friendship with Donald Trump, we’re not going to do that stuff. And he said it very strongly, I thought it was very interesting, actually. And very nice. But he said that, and I agree with him on that 100%. No, I have a very good relationship with Ron and intend to have it for a long time.”

Youngkin Replaces State’s Department of Equity and Inclusion with Anti-CRT Leaders

Move over ‘Critical Race Theory’ there’s a new Sheriff in town

Move over ‘Critical Race Theory’ there’s a new Sheriff in town. Newly elected Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin just ripped the roof off of Virginia’s “woke” elite. Youngkin completely gutted the employees of the state’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and then rebuilt it, filling the positions with reasonable individuals.

Christopher Rufo tweeted, “Glenn Youngkin has asked all of the state’s DEI employees to resign and tapped anti-critical race theory leader Angela Sailor to lead the department. In her first move, Sailor eliminated the word ‘equity’ and replaced it with ‘opportunity.”

Youngkin asked all of the state’s DEI employees to resign, then put Sailor in charge to lead the department. Sailor is a former policy expert at The Heritage Foundation;. Having replaced the word ‘equity’ for ‘opportunity’ at the department, Sailor is now formally the DOI “Director of Diversity, Opportunity and Inclusion.”

Citizen Free Press reports “Youngkin also issued an executive order to refocus the DEI office, tasking Sailor and her staff to work on economic opportunity, cooperation among religious groups, promoting ‘free speech and civil discourse’ at colleges and universities, and ensuring that Virginia’s history curriculum is ‘honest, objective, and complete.”

Rufo’s tweet included a link to an article by the Richmond Times-Dispatch which reported “Former Gov. Ralph Northam created the state’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in 2019 in the aftermath of the blackface scandal that nearly ended his term. The office has been unstaffed since its former chief and her four staffers, who served at the will of the governor, were not asked to stay in their jobs.”

Richmond Times-Dispatch reports:

Youngkin’s first executive order signed Saturday seeks to ban “inherently divisive” concepts from Virginia classrooms.

In recent blog posts for The Heritage Foundation, Sailor said that lessons arguing that “America is systemically racist,” are “the textbook definition of racism.”

“No one would argue that children shouldn’t be thoroughly taught about the evils of racism, slavery, and segregation that happened in this country,” she wrote in July in a piece titled, “Schools Hiding Behind Diversity and Inclusion Rhetoric to Spew Critical Race Theory Vile.”

“But [critical race theory] ignores the hundreds of thousands of lives that were sacrificed during the Civil War to end slavery, the long struggle of the civil rights movement to end segregation and win equality, and the reality that the nation has made great progress.”
