‘Anti-Racist’ Education Set To Become Requirement for Admission to California Colleges

Breakthrough! A High School Course Will Reduce Racism!

A post appeared on American Greatness www.amgreatness.com reporting that the University of California (UC) system is set to implement new guidelines that will force all potential applicants to first take an ethnic studies or “anti-racist” course in high school prior to applying. The University will make ‘Anti-Racist’ Education a Prerequisite for Admission.

The content of the anticipated courses seems tendentious. “As reported by the Washington Free Beacon, “the UC Academic Senate met on March 30th to consider new “course content guidelines” relating to ethnic studies classes that any future students would first have to take in high school. The guidelines dictate that students first learn about “the impact of systems of power and oppression,” including “empire,” “white supremacy,” “anti-blackness,” “xenophobia,” and “patriarchy” prior to submitting an application to any of the ten UC campuses throughout the state.”

Efforts to mandate diversity education in California public schools had already been taken up by the state legislature and Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.). In 2020, Newsom vetoed a bill that would have implemented a broad ethnic studies curriculum throughout the state. Newsom eventually signed an updated bill in late 2021 forcing all public high schools to teach ethnic studies courses by 2025.

The new proposal would force private and charter schools to adopt the same requirement for any students seeking acceptance to the UC system, which is considered the most prestigious level of education in the state. The content would instruct on “honoring anti-colonial and liberatory movements that struggle for social justice” and “critique histories of imperialism, dehumanization, and genocide to expose how they are connected to present-day ideologies, systems, and dominant cultures that perpetuate racial violence, white supremacy, and other forms of oppression.”

Despite the overwhelmingly far-left lean of the UC system, an open letter was signed by over 1,200 UC students, alumni, and faculty opposing the new changes, declaring that a radical “activist” wing is seeking to “unleash hatred and bigotry, especially anti-Semitism, into California’s public, charter, and private schools.”

Any additions to curriculum regarding the banning of God from school? Will there be classes regarding the use by our founding fathers of Judeo-Christian mores and how they have been diluted and eroded over time?

And the cow jumped over the moon! These people making something out of nothing are starting to make me sick! I retired from a Corporation who’s Headquarters is in Detroit. I worked for this Corp for 34 years before being forced to retire when a tumor in my spinal canal sheath took my ability to walk and control my own faculties. Never, ever we’re qualified people overlooked, not hired or discriminated in any way shape or form based upon race , gender or anything else. Where was I while all the bad they are now pretending happened? There are probably more colored people per capita in Detroit MI than any other City in the US. The insane flakes of the Democrat Party live in a Fantasy world! They are lost.

Why is it that the teaching of racism is concentrated on white power? From my experiences, racism crosses all color, religion, gender, etc.
keeping the focus on white power promotes racism against whites. Racism crosses all boundaries – f you are going to do this, DO IT RIGHT!!!!
