Biden Calls Texas and Mississippi Reopening ‘Neanderthal Thinking’

Biden: ‘I Think It’s a Big Mistake’

President Biden, who has called the COVID policy of the state with the second-highest deaths per capita the “gold standard,” asserted that the decision of the governors of Texas and Mississippi to reopen was the result of “Neanderthal thinking.”

“I think it’s a big mistake,” Biden said in a response to a question about the two states. “Look, I hope everybody’s realized by now these masks make a difference. We are on the cusp of being able to fundamentally change the nature of this disease because of the way in which we’re able to get vaccines in people’s arms. We’ve been able to move that all the way up to the end of May to have enough for every American, to get every adult American to get a shot.”

“The last thing, the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime everything’s fine, take off your mask,” Biden continued. “Forget it. It still matters. … And it’s critical — critical, critical, critical — that they follow the science. Wash your hands, hot water, do it frequently. Wear a mask and stay socially distanced. And I know you all know that; I wish the heck some of our elected officials knew it.”

Biden’s criticism of the states marks a stark contrast to his praise of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

“Your governor in New York’s done one hell of a job. I think he’s the gold standard,” Biden said in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last year.

Biden’s “gold standard” policy included a directive that barred nursing homes from refusing people who were infected with COVID-19, followed by the Cuomo administration’s suppression of the data on nursing home deaths to protect the administration from a Department of Justice probe.

“The new number of 9,056 recovering patients sent to hundreds of nursing homes is more than 40% higher than what the state health department previously released,” The Associated Press reported. “The new figures come as the Cuomo administration has been forced in recent weeks to acknowledge it has been underreporting the overall number of COVID-19 deaths among long-term care residents. It is now nearly 15,000 up from the 8,500 previously disclosed.”

The science doesn’t support it. He’s using this to continue to instill fear, control and a distraction to what he’s really doing. We are in trouble with this administration.

Biden realizes that other states will start to push for reopening now that Big Tex and others have made it clear that the gig is up. You can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.

Everytime a dim opens their mouth. You can count on stupid shiit coming out. Biden calls Gov Abbot guilty of Neanderthal thinking for opening up the state. Then Biden releases COVID positive illegals into Texas. He threatens to tear down the wall at the border. But he lives surrounded by a 13 ft wall. If walls don’t work. Why is the capitol and the WH surrounded by them? He wants a stimulus approved that is not only 90% non-COVID related, it is blatantly racist. You heard me right. It is bias as hell. There are numerous liberal wish list programs included for farmers, minority groups, Veterans, and women. The requirements are written to specifically exclude white males who happen to own the majority of farms, ranches, and small businesses. He states that he thinks it is a mistake to open up Texas. Let’s see jsut how many things I can think of that Biden has done that are mistakes. Well, never mind. The list is so long that I could not list even half of it. Besides, it is probably not him making these decisions. It is some radical leftist not ball telling him what to say.

Then you have morons like Juan Williams. He has to be one of the dumbest enwords in this country.

the n-95 has a .3 micron opening. this virus is .04-.14 microns. influenza is even smaller. masks only cause fear. “those who chose safety over freedom deserve neither” BF

I agree with Barry. The only reason most citizens are wearing their masks, inside, outside, in their cars, in their homes, is because they are falling for the lies they’ve been told. The states that are opening up with no restrictions or mandates will be the states left standing after all the shutdown states begin to falter and fail, with thousands of families moving to states that are open. Biden and his comments about neanderthals is himself a neanderthal, who hasn’t had an intelligent thought in years, and he enjoys kissing, hugging, and smelling the hair of little girls. He needs to be prosecuted at a pedaphile. Any Mother who voted for Biden should never look their daughters in the face again and declare they love them.

Biden Admin Announces First COVID Shots For Kids Under 5 Likely By June 21

On Thursday, the Biden administration announced that children under 5 will be able to get their first COVID-19 vaccination doses as soon as June 21, if regulators authorize the shots for this age group as expected.

According to the Associated Press, White House COVID-19 coordinator Ashish Jha “said the Food and Drug Administration’s outside panel of advisers will meet on June 14-15 to evaluate the Pfizer and Moderna shots for younger kids. Shipments to doctors’ offices and pediatric care facilities would begin soon after FDA authorization, with the first shots possible the following week.”

Jha added that states can begin placing orders for the pediatric vaccines on Friday and the administration will initially have 10 million doses available.

“Our expectation is that within weeks every parent who wants their child to get vaccinated will be able to get an appointment,” Jha said. “At the end of the day we all want to move fast, but we’ve got to get it right.”

The news comes the week after Pfizer announced that three doses of their vaccine offers strong protection against COVID-19 in children under 5.  However, according to former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb, a third dose is unnecessary because the vaccines do not prevent infection.

“I think the decision matrix has changed around the vaccine for [ages] 6 months to 4 years old and so far as we know that the vaccine isn’t as protective at preventing infection,” Gottlieb said. “Previously, we had data showing that the childhood vaccine for 6 months to 4 years wasn’t as protective against infection as the adult vaccine.”

“That’s the reason why they pushed it out and asked for that third dose. But now, if the goal of the vaccine is to get baseline immunity in the kids to prevent really bad outcomes, and you’re really not using the vaccine as a tool to prevent infection in the first place, two doses could do that,” he added.

On Tuesday, the White House announced that Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive for COVID-19 and is not currently showing symptoms.

“Today, Vice President Harris tested positive for COVID-19 on rapid and PCR tests,” said Kirsten Allen, press secretary to the vice president. “She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from the Vice President’s residence. She has not been a close contact to the President or First Lady due to their respective recent travel schedules. She will follow CDC guidelines and the advice of her physicians. The Vice President will return to the White House when she tests negative.”

Harris wrote on Twitter that she was going to continue to isolate and is showing no symptoms.

“Today I tested positive for COVID-19. I have no symptoms, and I will continue to isolate and follow CDC guidelines. I’m grateful to be both vaccinated and boosted,” Harris tweeted.

Harris last reportedly saw President Biden at the Easter Egg Roll on April 18 before leaving for California, which she returned from on April 25.

The vice president has been vaccinated against COVID-19 and has received two booster shots, receiving the second booster on April 1.

“Yesterday I received my second COVID-19 booster shot,” Harris tweeted on April 2. “We know that getting vaccinated is the best form of protection from this virus and boosters are critical in providing an additional level of protection. If you haven’t received your first booster—do it today.”
