Joe Biden certainly dropped the ball during a campaign rally on Sunday, confusing the Philadelphia Eagles logo with the emblem of his own undergraduate alma mater.
“I know Philadelphia well,” the former vice president said at a drive-in rally in the City of Brotherly Love. “I married a Philly girl by the way, and by the way, got my Eagles jacket on.”

What a fumble!
The jacket actually showed the logo of the University of Delaware Blue Hens, the school where Biden received his bachelor’s degree.
Not the best mistake to make in Eagles territory, Joe.
The blunder, of course, did not go unnoticed.
Tim Murtaugh, Trump campaign spokesman, took to Twitter to make sure of it.
“I hope all of my fellow @Eagles fans saw Joe Biden claim to be wearing an Eagles jacket today in Philly,” he said.
“It was a Delaware Blue Hens jacket,” he continued.

At a campaign stop later in the day, Biden introduced his granddaughter, Finnegan Biden.
And, confused his relationship to her.
“And I am Finnegan Biden’s grandmom,” he said.
“That’s her grandmom,” he corrected, referring to his wife, Jill Biden, “and I’m her grandpop.”

Biden’s Sunday slip-ups were just the latest in his campaign history of blunders and misspoken words, which the Trump campaign has made sure to share with the American people.
