Biden Has Taken More ‘Personal Travel’ Days Than Any President in Decades – CNN

A global pandemic, historic levels of illegal immigration, a botched ending of a 20-year war; the list goes on and on of what is happening only ten months into Joe Biden’s presidency. And yet, another record has been shattered: personal vacation days taken by the president.

President Joe Biden has taken more “personal travel” days than any other president in recent decades. The Daily Wire reported, “Biden spent a total of 108 of his first 276 days in office either vacationing or working from one of his two Delaware homes or from Camp David, according to a CNN analysis of Biden’s schedule.”

“The tally includes partial days when Biden split time between the White House and those other properties. Biden’s frequent absences come as his administration has faced a number of crises less than a year into his first term.”

CNN continued:

A CNN analysis of Biden’s public schedule indicates the President has spent a significant amount of time away from the White House, particularly on weekends, since his January inauguration. Including this weekend’s trip to Delaware, Biden has taken 35 personal trips and spent all or part of 108 of his first 276 days in office at one of his Delaware homes or at Camp David in Maryland. That includes partial days, like Friday — when he spent the day at the White House and departed in the evening.

Sixty-nine of those 108 days away from Washington were spent at his home in Wilmington, spread over 23 visits; seven days at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, beach house over two visits; and 32 days at Camp David over 10 visits. …

While most presidents have prioritized taking time away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, this is the most time a president has spent away from the White House on personal travel at this point in the presidency in recent history.

Apparently Biden has made his attempts to not look so bad, and already has been handing out excuses in interviews. “Biden has been open about his feelings regarding the White House, telling Vogue in June that there’s ‘no real upside to living physically’ at the residence” reported USA Features News. “During that interview, the president complained of a lack of privacy ‘and the pomp-and-circumstance’ surrounding the whole ordeal.”

I don’t get it.I understood that Biden has been working long hours whereas Trump was often reported as spending hours watching TV to see if he is featured, and played golf dozens of times. When he lost the election he played golf for days on end. One story about Reagan was that he trusted his management choices to be competent so worked 8 hours usually. It is necessary to be realistic and not try to pretend at his and Trump’s ages that they can keep a strenuous work pattern up without let up.

He’s a feeble old man who should be in a nursing home. Who are you trying to fool? NO other President has been in the bad shape that he is in. He can’t even complete a sentence. But then we are getting just what hate wants us to have…..if we hate enough we will be punished for our hate. Hate elected him so we are all being punished. Have at ‘em Biden. Show the people just what a hate gets you.

In that case there should be an age limit then. Being president is a strenuous job and requires physical stamina. Being away from the job as much as Biden has been is unacceptable especially since it’s been a debacle so far.

I don’t know you told you obiden works long hours, he can’t stay awake more than 2 or 3 hrs at a time. Trump has worked like this through out his life and far more clear minded than obiden was 20 yrs ago. Look at all the gaffs he made as vp and the media said “oh, it’s just ole uncle joe!” obiden has not been of right mind since his bleeding aneurism in the 8o’s. Just ask the doctor that seen him. And why won’t he take a cognizant test, Trump did.

Not a word from the Libs about this, but when Trump went golfing OMG how they complained, At least Trump did his job as a president, Joe can’t even handle talking to the public, look at the border! The vaccine mandates! Our 13 service men and woman who were killed and the ones left behind, I could go on and on, The world is laughing at us, right now we are the weakest country in the world, Joe & Harris need to be impeached for not doing their job. I think we should stop their paychecks, and make them pay back what they have been paid for the last 10 months. Wake up America, our future is getting darker and darker by the minute.

You’re right, D.E. – you dont get it.
Biden often ‘calls a lid’ on the day well before noon. He averages working 20 minutes a day, while President Trump averaged 20 hours a day. And yet Biden needs a vacation day for every couple of days he works… No wonder he has no idea what’s going on…

Trump was up before the sun working, and he expected his employees to do the same. Now we have a dementia ridden president and our enemies know it.

CNN Suspends Chris Cuomo ‘Indefinitely, Pending Further Evaluation’

On Tuesday, CNN suspended Chris Cuomo “indefinitely, pending further evaluation” after new information was revealed detailing the help he gave his brother ex-Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo in handling numerous sexual misconduct allegations.

“Chris Cuomo was actively in touch with Melissa DeRosa, who was the then-governor’s top aide, about incoming media reports that detailed alleged sexual harassment by Andrew Cuomo, according to exhibits from the Attorney General’s probe and a transcript of his interview with the state’s investigators,” CNBC reported. “He also lobbied to help the governor’s office as it sought to weather the storm of accusations, and he dictated statements for the then-governor to use.”

“Please let me help with the prep,” Chris Cuomo asked DeRosa in a message in from early March. Then, three days after a New York Times report from March explained how Andrew Cuomo attempted to forcefully kiss a woman, Anna Ruch, at a wedding, Chris Cuomo texted DeRosa, “I have a lead on the wedding girl.”

Quickly after the new was publicized, CNN issued a comment saying they would be reviewing the information.

“The thousands of pages of additional transcripts and exhibits that were released today by the NY Attorney General deserve a thorough review and consideration,” CNN spokesman Matt Dornic said. “We will be having conversations and seeking additional clarity about their significance as they relate to CNN over the next several days.”

After reviewing, CNN announced Chris Cuomo’s suspension a statement, saying, “The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense. The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions.

When Chris admitted to us that he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second. However, these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew. As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation.”

In August, Andrew Cuomo resigned after an independent investigation found he had “sexually harassed a number of current and former New York State employees.”

The former New York governor’s scandal began in December 2020, when the first of 11 women accused him of sexual misconduct. The victims, who were mostly his employees, said Cuomo engaged in sexually aggressive behavior including nonconsensual kissing, groping, inappropriate invitations to play strip poker and comments about their sex lives.

The investigation found that “the Governor sexually harassed a number of current and former New York State employees by, among other things, engaging in unwelcome and nonconsensual touching, as well as making numerous offensive comments of a suggestive and sexual nature that created a hostile work environment for women.”

The investigation additionally “revealed that the Governor’s sexually harassing behavior was not limited to members of his own staff, but extended to other State employees, including a State Trooper on his protective detail and members of the public.” It concluded that Cuomo created a culture “filled with fear and intimidation, while at the same time normalizing the Governor’s frequent flirtations and gender-based comments” which “contributed to the conditions that allowed the sexual harassment to occur and persist.”

Biden Not Planning To Visit Victims Of Black Supremacist Attack In Wisconsin

Published

on

Joe Biden

During Monday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that President Joe Biden has no plans to visit the victims of the black supremacist attack on a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, that occurred last week after the announcement of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict.

“Since the President said that this administration is monitoring the situation in Waukesha closely, it has been revealed by prosecutors that the assailant — the assailant swerved his truck side to side as part of an intentional act to run over as many people as possible,” a reporter said. “Six people are dead. Some children remain hospitalized.”

“Why hasn’t the President visited the members of this Christmas parade attack?” the reporter asked.

“Well, I would say first: As you saw the President convey last week, our hearts go out to this community, to the people in Waukesha; that we’ve been in touch, obviously, with officials there; and we’re all watching as people are recovering. And this is such a difficult time of year for this to happen. It’s a difficult anytime,” Psaki said. “Obviously, any President going to visit a community requires a lot of assets, requires taking their resources, and it’s not something that I have a trip previewed at this plan- — point in time, but we remain in touch with local officials. And certainly, our hearts are with the community as they’ve gone through such a difficult time.”

Last week, a man was accused of driving a red SUV through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin. The man had numerous posts on his social media expressing support for Black Lives Matter and “black nationalist rhetoric” along with disdain for Republican politicians and conservative media.

“A lone subject intentionally drove his maroon SUV through barricades into a crowd of people that was celebrating the Waukesha Christmas Parade which resulted in killing five individuals and injuring 48 additional individuals,” city police chief Dan Thompson said at a press conference. “I just received information that two of the 48 are children and they’re in critical condition.”

The online news outlet Heavy revealed that the suspect “posted anti-police rhetoric” and “black nationalist rhetoric” on social media. He also “posted a photoshopped fake image of former Republican Governor Scott Walker as a Nazi.”

One Twitter user posted a list of some of the suspect’s now-deleted Facebook posts, which showed extremist support for BLM.

The suspect also has a long criminal history, having “been charged with or convicted on an array of charges over the past 22 years, including battery, domestic violence, cocaine possession and resisting arrest in several jurisdictions in Wisconsin,” The New York Times reported. “He has served at least two jail sentences and spent years on probation and in court-mandated work-release and anger management programs.”
