Biden Visited GM Factory After Company Paid $160,000 To Lobbyist Brother Of White House Aide

Democrat President Joe Biden visited an electric car factory operated by General Motors after the automaker paid nearly $160,000 to the brother of a White House staffer, according to a new report from The Washington Free Beacon.

The report states that lobbyist Jeff Ricchetti – who works as counselor to President Biden and was chief of staff from 2013-2017 for then-Vice President Biden – has received “$160,000 in payments from General Motors since President Joe Biden took office to lobby the White House and Congress on electric vehicle tax incentives, according to his firm’s lobbying disclosure forms.”

“The investment appears to have paid off—on Wednesday, Biden will attend the grand opening of the company’s new electric vehicle factory as part of his push for Congress to ‘approve big tax incentives for zero-emission vehicles,’ precisely what Ricchetti was paid to push for,” the report continued. “Ricchetti has cashed in on his family ties to the administration. Ricchetti has already brought in $2.4 million in lobbying fees this year, double his 2020 haul of $1.2 million, according to numbers compiled by OpenSecrets. Ethics experts have criticized the Biden administration for allowing Steve Ricchetti to work on issues his brother is being paid to lobby the administration on.”

Richard Painter, a former White House ethics chief and Democratic candidate for office, believes that “Steve Ricchetti ought to completely recuse himself from any part of the legislation that his brother’s firm is lobbying on, and then have the White House not take calls from his brother.”

General Motors reportedly paid Ricchetti’s firm, Ricchetti Incorporated, to lobby on “issues related to tax incentives for electric vehicles and charging stations,” “the availability of semiconductors,” and “climate policy that affect the automobile industry.”

The Washington Free Beacon noted, “Three of Steve Ricchetti’s children work in the Biden administration, prompting Politico to label Biden’s White House ‘the Ricchetti administration.’ Walter Shaub, White House ethics chief during the Obama administration, said the Biden administration’s decision to permit nepotism amounts to a ‘f— you’ to ethics experts.

Biden is busy with his ‘social engineering’ and ‘human infrastructure’ narratives. Translation: redistributing wealth according to pays the Democrat Party millions of dollars. Conversely, Biden is busy destroying companies that were favored by the Trump Administration, like Oil and Gas. Never has such a blatantly evil administration existed. It simply takes my breath away.

DeSantis Slams Biden For Removing Marxist Terrorist Group From Terror List

Published

Ron DeSantis

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded to President Biden’s decision to remove a Marxist guerilla group U.S.’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
A
statement from DeSantis’ office said it was a “reckless decision to remove the radically communist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) from the United States list of foreign terrorist organizations” because the group has, for decades, “perpetuated countless murders, bombings, assassinations, kidnapping and attacks under the guise of ‘redistributing wealth.’”

DeSantis said, “President Biden’s decision to remove the FARC from the State Department’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations will embolden terrorist groups throughout Latin America, empower narco-traffickers and pave the way for Castro-chavismo in Colombia.”

“Biden’s policy is an insult to members of the Colombian American community, many of whom fled that terrorist group’s barbaric attacks on civilians,” DeSantis continued. “This is a serious mistake by the Biden administration and will hurt Floridians. With this mind, my office will ascertain what policy measures our state can take to protect our residents from a resurgent FARC and other terrorist Marxist groups.”

“My administration stands squarely on the side of the millions of Floridians who want democracy, peace and freedom to endure in Colombia and against Joe Biden’s Castrochavista allies,” he added.

Lieutenant-Governor Jeanette Nuñez also criticized the move, saying, “There’s no such thing as a peace deal when you negotiate with terrorists. Removing the FARC from the U.S. list of foreign terrorist organizations not only undermines America’s interests and allies in the region but appeases despots like Maduro and Diaz-Canel.”
According to an exclusive
report from the Wall Street Journal, “The officials said the move could come no later than Nov. 30, coinciding with the five-year anniversary of the historic peace accord between then-President Juan Manuel Santos and rebels of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. Negotiated with U.S. support, the agreement ended a 52-year-conflict and resulted in Mr. Santos winning the Nobel Peace Prize…”

“Colombian officials who spent four years negotiating with the FARC had been quietly pressing U.S. officials to drop the terrorist designation against the group,” the Wall Street Journal added. “By doing that, the U.S. recognizes the steps rebels took to transform their group into a political party, now called the Common People party, officials said.”

The news comes weeks after an Iranian-backed extremist group that Biden also removed from the U.S.’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations launched a missile attack on a mosque and a religions school that killed and injured 29 civilians.

The group, called Ansarallah, had been designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the Trump administration.

“If Ansarallah did not behave like a terrorist organization, we would not designate it as an FTO and SDGT,” Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo explained a statement.

“It has led a brutal campaign that has killed many people, continues to destabilize the region, and denies Yemenis a peaceful solution to the conflict in their country. Rather than distance itself from the Iranian regime, it has embraced the world’s leading state-sponsor of terrorism even more. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has supplied Ansarallah with missiles, drones, and training, allowing the group to target airports and other critical infrastructure.”

Poll Shows Voters Doubt Biden’s ‘Health’ and ‘Mental Fitness’

Published

Joe Biden

A POLITICO/Morning Consult Poll shows Americans are increasingly concerned over the health and mental fitness of President Biden. Biden is the oldest man ever sworn into office. “Only 40 percent of voters surveyed agreed with the statement that Biden ‘is in good health,’ while 50 percent disagreed. That 10-percentage-point gap — outside the poll’s margin of error — represents a massive 29-point shift since October 2020, when Morning Consult last surveyed the question and found voters believed Biden was in good health by a 19-point margin.”

1,998 registered voters were polled November 13-15. The voters didn’t find Biden a clear communicator by 20 points, and didn’t find him energetic by 26 points. They did not find him a strong leader by 17 points.

“Asked whether Biden is mentally fit, voters are almost evenly split, with 46 percent saying he is and 48 percent disagreeing. But that negative 2-point margin stands in stark contrast to Biden’s numbers last October, when voters believed he was mentally fit by a 21-point margin” reports POLITICO.

“The poll questions are part of a long battery of attributes about which voters were asked to rate Biden — the same battery employed multiple times during Donald Trump’s presidency, and asked about both candidates last fall, prior to the 2020 presidential election.”

Biden turns 79 on Saturday and curiosity is sparking political circles as to whether or not he will run for reelection in three years. Additionally, “Democrats have grown increasingly concerned with the party’s gerontocracy. Biden says he will run again, but some longtime allies have raised doubts. Even “Saturday Night Live” recently ribbed Biden over whether he was “lucid.”

POLITICO writes:

The most intense scrutiny of Biden’s age and his verbal miscues had previously been limited to conservative news outlets and social media, said Celinda Lake, a Democratic pollster who has surveyed for Biden.

“They’re running a very aggressive campaign on this, and it’s bleeding over into the mainstream a little,” Lake said. “By and large, the people who believe this are Trump supporters anyway or they’ve been exposed to the right-wing disinformation machine.”

To Lake’s point, the Morning Consult poll generally shows that Trump voters and Republicans generally believe Biden is neither physically nor mentally fit, and Biden voters believe the opposite. However, independents — by a margin of 23 points — don’t agree that Biden is mentally fit now.

Before last year’s election, independents and voters overall believed Biden was more physically and mentally fit than Trump, whose mismanagement of the pandemic damaged his campaign as the Biden camp embraced social distancing and mostly eschewed large events.

But with Trump gone as a foil for now, Biden is more in the spotlight than ever, and his overall approval rating began collapsing with the bloody withdrawal from Afghanistan. The ravages of the coronavirus Delta variant, congressional squabbling and public perceptions about the economy also contributed to Biden’s troubles.

The new Morning Consult poll shows 44 percent give Biden a positive job approval rating and 53 percent disapprove. Biden’s approval rating is essentially unchanged over the past two weeks — it was 46 percent last week and 45 percent the week prior — since the passage of the infrastructure bill in Congress earlier this month.
