Federal Reserve Wants Employees to Avoid ‘Biased Terms’ Like ‘Founding Fathers’

Fox News obtained an internal webpage of the Federal Reserve which has instructed employees to adopt “bias-free language.” Except bias, especially these days, is very subjective. The Federal Reserve believes terms like “Founding Fathers” is a biased phrase that must be eliminated.

“The Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors issued the guidance for all employees nationwide on April 29, a former Fed staffer with knowledge of the matter told Fox News.” The webpage guidance states:

“Bias-free language recognizes diversity and avoids stereotyping, demeaning, or excluding people on the basis of gender, race, ethnic group, religion, age, ability/disability, or sexual orientation.”

It continued, “try to avoid words and phrases that may be considered offensive, pejorative, or prejudiced (whether consciously or unconsciously), as these can distract your audience from the ideas/information you’re trying to convey.”

A list of “biased terms” is included within the guidance webpage. Included as terms to avoid are “blacklist,” “grandfathered,” and “Founding Fathers” and employees instead are instructed to use terms like “denied,” “legacy,” and “Founders” instead.

The terms “whitelisted,” “manpower,” “manmade,” and “singular generic pronouns” – such as “he,” “she,” “his,” and “hers” should be replaced with “bias-free” alternatives such as “allowed,” “artificial,” and pronouns such as “they,” “their” and “theirs.”

Out of all the English words in the dictionary, particularly ones that relate to “stereotyping, demeaning, or excluding people on the basis of gender, race, ethnic group, religion, age, ability/disability, or sexual orientation” the Federal Reserve’s list seems to miss the mark by a longshot. Fox News reports that “in a statement, a Federal Reserve spokesman said: ‘The Federal Reserve has no language directives for employees.”

Since when does the Federal Reserve have the authority to dictate speech in this country? It all goes back to the leadership and what their mindset dictates. These idiots are not Americans.

Trump Says Reports On A Conflict With DeSantis Are ‘Fake News’

During a Fox News interview on Thursday, former President Donald Trump shot down recent reports claiming that there were rising tensions between the former president and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, saying it was “fake news” and that DeSantis has “done a really terrific job in Florida.”

Trump’s comments came in response to an article from The New York Times claiming that Trump had a “long-stewing resentment” toward DeSantis.

“For months, former President Donald J. Trump has been grumbling quietly to friends and visitors to his Palm Beach mansion about a rival Republican power center in another Florida mansion, some 400 miles to the north,” The New York Times wrote. “Gov. Ron DeSantis, a man Mr. Trump believes he put on the map, has been acting far less like an acolyte and more like a future competitor, Mr. Trump complains. With his stock rising fast in the party, the governor has conspicuously refrained from saying he would stand aside if Mr. Trump runs for the Republican nomination for president in 2024.”

Hannity said that he was recently told that DeSantis does not think there has been “any conflict or bickering” between the two and that the report was “total BS” from the mainstream media.

“Is he right?” Hannity asked.

“Well, he is right,” Trump responded. “I get along great with Ron. Ron was very good on the Mueller hoax. He was right up front along with Jim Jordan, and all of the rest of them, they were fantastic. The Republicans really stuck together. And it was a great thing. And Ron was one of them. And Ron wanted to run and I endorsed him. And that helped him greatly.”

“And he went on and he’s done a really terrific job in Florida, and I think you know, Ron has been very good,” Trump continued. “He’s been a friend of mine for a long time. It’s totally fake news. I think Ron said last week, he said it very publicly, he says the press is never going to get in the middle of my friendship with Donald Trump, we’re not going to do that stuff. And he said it very strongly, I thought it was very interesting, actually. And very nice. But he said that, and I agree with him on that 100%. No, I have a very good relationship with Ron and intend to have it for a long time.”

Youngkin Replaces State’s Department of Equity and Inclusion with Anti-CRT Leaders

Move over ‘Critical Race Theory’ there’s a new Sheriff in town

Move over ‘Critical Race Theory’ there’s a new Sheriff in town. Newly elected Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin just ripped the roof off of Virginia’s “woke” elite. Youngkin completely gutted the employees of the state’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and then rebuilt it, filling the positions with reasonable individuals.

Christopher Rufo tweeted, “Glenn Youngkin has asked all of the state’s DEI employees to resign and tapped anti-critical race theory leader Angela Sailor to lead the department. In her first move, Sailor eliminated the word ‘equity’ and replaced it with ‘opportunity.”

Youngkin asked all of the state’s DEI employees to resign, then put Sailor in charge to lead the department. Sailor is a former policy expert at The Heritage Foundation;. Having replaced the word ‘equity’ for ‘opportunity’ at the department, Sailor is now formally the DOI “Director of Diversity, Opportunity and Inclusion.”

Citizen Free Press reports “Youngkin also issued an executive order to refocus the DEI office, tasking Sailor and her staff to work on economic opportunity, cooperation among religious groups, promoting ‘free speech and civil discourse’ at colleges and universities, and ensuring that Virginia’s history curriculum is ‘honest, objective, and complete.”

Rufo’s tweet included a link to an article by the Richmond Times-Dispatch which reported “Former Gov. Ralph Northam created the state’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in 2019 in the aftermath of the blackface scandal that nearly ended his term. The office has been unstaffed since its former chief and her four staffers, who served at the will of the governor, were not asked to stay in their jobs.”

Richmond Times-Dispatch reports:

Youngkin’s first executive order signed Saturday seeks to ban “inherently divisive” concepts from Virginia classrooms.

In recent blog posts for The Heritage Foundation, Sailor said that lessons arguing that “America is systemically racist,” are “the textbook definition of racism.”

“No one would argue that children shouldn’t be thoroughly taught about the evils of racism, slavery, and segregation that happened in this country,” she wrote in July in a piece titled, “Schools Hiding Behind Diversity and Inclusion Rhetoric to Spew Critical Race Theory Vile.”

“But [critical race theory] ignores the hundreds of thousands of lives that were sacrificed during the Civil War to end slavery, the long struggle of the civil rights movement to end segregation and win equality, and the reality that the nation has made great progress.”
