HOLLYWOOD HYPOCRISY: Celebs attend Google climate summit on private jets, mega yachts

The hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite is simply astounding.

The hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite is simply astounding.

In the latest episode of Hollywood gone woke, celebrities of all kinds flocked to Sicily, Italy to discuss climate change at the Google Camp summit.

But, ironically enough, their attendance may come at a steep cost to the cause they claim to be fighting for.

“Everything is about global warming, that is the major topic this year,” a source told the New York Post

What’s more, the three-day event will cost Google $20 million.

Many of the guests – including Barack Obama and Leonardo DiCaprio – have expressed concern about global warming, naming it the biggest threat to future generations.

But, while claiming to care so much about the environment, these celebrities are supposedly showing up in 114 different private jets, Fox News reports

Taking 114 flights from Los Angeles to Palermo would reportedly release 100,000 kilograms of CO2 into the air.

“Google Camp is meant to be a place where influential people get together to discuss how to make the world better,” a source told the Post. “There will likely be discussions about online privacy, politics, human rights, and of course, the environment, which makes it highly ironic that this event requires 114 private jets to happen.”

Attendees, who were personally invited by Google founder Sergey Brin and Larry Page, will cover their own travel costs to Sicily’s Verdura Resort, but Google will pay for the rest of their expenses.

Other stars in attendance will include Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Harry Styles, Bradley Cooper, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Diane von Furstenberg and others, Fox News reports

Private jets aren’t the only chosen method of transportation. Some of these stars are choosing to arrive by yacht.

But not just any yacht, mega yacht.

Diane von Furstenberg, a designer, arrived on her $200 million yacht, and Dreamworks founder David Geffen arrived on his $400 million yacht.

Another example of the left-wing elitist motto: do as I say, not as I do.

Care about global warming, but don’t show up to a global warming summit on a private jet.

The hypocrisy is beyond reproach! Their lack of knowledge about science is even worse….which we can probably blame on teachers. The star closest to us, that we call the sun, is responsible for ALMOST ALL CLIMATIC EVENTS that we have here (an exception would be the eruption of a volcano that creates ashes which block out the sun). The sun creates conditions that cause clouds and precipitation to occur. The sun gives us our life! Regarding CO2….CO2 is half of the CO2/O2 cycle (carbon dioxide/oxygen cycle). CO2 is NOT a pollutant, rather it is as necessary as a component of our life as O2 is. It is what we exhale and plants breathe in. Plants respond by exhaling the O2 (Oxygen) that we breath in. It is a symbiotic relationship which is necessary for all life. That these lefties don’t understand this basic science should be an embarrassment ! As far as the climate changing….it changes ALL of the time…and it has been changing since BEFORE humans existed.

What do you expect from people who make a living from make believe and creating fantasies?Btw, It’s snowing here in the Seattle area and I’m grateful that I am snug and cozy in my home that is heated by natural gas…something that our dear leader wants to eliminate.

OUCH: NBC’s Chuck Todd says Biden ‘no longer seen as competent and effective’

On Sunday, NBC anchor Chuck Todd lamented that Democrats are in for a “shellacking” in November. In the opening segment for “Meet the Press” Todd discussed a recent NBC poll showing Biden’s “dismal approval ratings” as the midterm election year begins.

The poll’s 43% approval rating shows Biden has “lost his identity” and was “no longer seen as competent and effective” in the eyes of the voters, said Todd. A drastic statement indeed, coming from the leftwing mainstream media that has gone above and beyond to protect President Biden.

“President Biden’s news conference on Wednesday was designed to kick off a second year reset of his presidency, recapture his political identity, if you will, but our new NBC News poll suggests Mr. Biden does need a reset because he’s lost his identity a bit” said Todd of Biden’s bizarre and rambling news conference that lasted nearly two hours.

“He’s no longer seen as competent and effective, no longer seen as a good commander-in-chief, or perhaps most damaging, as easy-going and likable. In fact, just 5% of adults say Mr. Biden has performed better than expected as president, one of the many lowest firsts and fewest in our poll,” he added.

Todd used the poll to state voters “still preferred Democrats control Congress by just one percentage point” but needed to be up by “four or five” to make up for Republican redistricting.

“But as you can see, two of our three most important indexes is sitting in shellacking territory right for the Democrats. This is a dangerous place for the party and the president to be at the one-year mark of this presidency” Todd concluded.

Chris Cuomo Forced Out Of SiriusXM After CNN Firing – Report

Published

Chris Cuomo

On Monday, ex-CNN host Chris Cuomo announced that he had resigned from his SiriusXM radio show just days after being fired from CNN over his deep involvement with the handling of sexual assault allegations against his brother ex-Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo.

“The way my time ended at CNN is hard,” he said in a statement. “While I have a thick skin, I also have a family, for whom the past week has been extraordinarily difficult. So, right now, I have to take a step back and focus on what comes next. That means I will no longer be doing my SiriusXM radio show. I am extremely grateful for the support I have received from SiriusXM throughout my time there. I also want to express my sincere appreciation for my loyal listeners. I will miss our conversations a great deal – but I look forward to being back in touch with you all in the future.”

“Following Chris Cuomo’s statement that he is leaving his SiriusXM show, Let’s Get After It will no longer air. We thank Chris for his work at SiriusXM,” a SiriusXM spokesperson said in a statement.

According to the New York Post, a source said that Cuomo was “forced out” of Sirius after “a former female colleague at ABC News accused him of sexual misconduct.”

“Cuomo ‘really wanted’ to stay on Sirius but was told he needed to leave,” the New York Post reported, adding, “A source familiar with the matter said of Cuomo, ‘He was asked to resign, which he did.’”

CNN also reportedly learned of a new accusation of sexual misconduct against Chris Cuomo, unrelated to his brother, that led CNN to take “immediate action.”
The New York Times
reported, “On Wednesday, Debra S. Katz, a prominent employment lawyer, informed CNN of a client with an allegation of sexual misconduct against Chris Cuomo. Ms. Katz said in a statement on Saturday that the allegation against the anchor, which was made by a former junior colleague at another network, was ‘unrelated to the Gov. Andrew Cuomo matter.’”

When asked about the new allegation, a CNN spokeswoman said in a statement on Saturday night, “Based on the report we received regarding Chris’s conduct with his brother’s defense, we had cause to terminate. When new allegations came to us this week, we took them seriously, and saw no reason to delay taking immediate action.”
