Kathy Griffin took the term “Head of State” to a whole new level once again.

The comedian re-shared a gruesome 2017 photo of her holding a replica of Donald Trump’s bloody, decapitated head after the president prematurely declared victory in the 2020 presidential election.

Since posting the photo on Twitter – without a caption – it has been retweeted nearly 12,000 times.

Taken by photographer Tyler Shields in 2017, the image drew major controversy, leading to an emotional apology video in which she called the picture a “mistake,” according to The Wrap.

But, the apology – which has since been retracted – was too little too late.

Griffin was fired from the CNN New Years Eve program in 2017 after the gory photo provoked an angry response from Trump supporters.

Even her co-host, Anderson Cooper, condemned the stunt.

“For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in,” he said. “It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”

Upon the photo’s initial release, President Trump branded Griffin as “sick” after it appeared on television in front of his child.

“Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!”

Griffin has been an avid critic of the Trump administration, backing candidate Joe Biden in the 2020 race.

Too far, Kathy. Too far.

She looks more like a bloody head than what she is holding. Nasty person.
