Famous rapper ‘Busta Rhymes’ did not hold back on his thoughts about wearing masks and government mandates at his latest concert. The 49-year-old went on an expletive filled rant in St. Louis in front of a live audience at Seoul Tacos.
“Stop taking our civil liberties away” the rapper demanded. “No human being’s supposed to tell you you can’t even breathe freely” he said as the crowd cheered. “F**k your mask.” He explained he was thrilled to be with real people “in front of human life” for only the second time in the past 15 months.
“All these little weird ass government policies and mandates can suck a ****.” They are “trying to take our civil liberties away” he lamented. Rhymes appealed to the human interest piece saying how we can’t even see each other smile anymore due to wearing masks.
He discussed how important it is to be able to read each other’s energies and establish what type of connection will be made on an individual level. He even teased about how much harder it was to flirt with the ladies without being able to use facial expressions.
“Sorry I got a little political” he said. “I miss my people. We gotta talk. We can party, but we gotta talk” he said of the discussion. One thing he made absolutely clear is “I ain’t goin through that s**t again.”
“If anything came outta this mother***** was a lot of learning” he added saying he “learned so much in this time off.” “The one good thing that came out of this shutdown – I have become more empowered.”
