For the first time in his life, Leo Terrell is voting for a Republican president. And he’s calling on all black Americans to do the same.
“This is the first time I’ve ever done this in my life and I strongly encourage you to do the same, fair-minded friends,” Terrell said. “President Trump is good for all Americans, but especially black Americans.”
Terrell cited several of President Trump’s accomplishments since being elected in 2016, including record-low unemployment among black Americans, a police reform bill following the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, funding for historically black colleges, and a record level economy.
“Prior to the global pandemic, the economy of the United States was near-record levels,” Terrell said. “What fixes an economy? Education. Specifically school choice, a term democrats run from every year.”
But, no fear. President Trump is an advocate for school choice.
As a civil rights attorney, Terrell expressed his firm belief in law and order, a term President Trump has focused on in his reelection campaign.
“I do not have any patience for bad cops,” Terrell said. “Get them out. But the Democratic party has been hijacked by extremists, Antifa looting, black lives matter rioting.”
“We are in a difficult time right now. We need a fighter, we need a president who will ignore politics as normal and get us back on track,” he concluded. “We need to re-elect Donald Trump.”
