VIDEO: NYPD Ask For Help Identifying Multiple Gunmen in ‘Wild West-Style’ Bronx Shootout
The New York Police Department is asking the public to help identify suspects in a horrifying shooting caught on video. The “wild shootout between two groups on a Bronx sidewalk” shows “multiple people rattling off shots as others run or duck for cover” reports Fox News.
The NYPD released the surveillance footage Monday asking the public for help in identifying anyone in the video, “which shows a Wild West-style gunfight in front of 635 E. 169th St. on Sept. 16.”
Crime has surged across the country as criminals become more brazen about their public displays of criminal activity in cities such as Chicago, New York and Philadelphia,
Shockingly the NYPD said no one was injured, despite what looks to be two groups shooting across the street at each other, “with at least eight people on one of the sidewalks as the bullet-fueled chaos erupts.”
Multiple gunmen can be seen on the silent footage, showing one man drop to the sidewalk before joining “a couple of others who have crawled for cover behind some of the cars parked on the street.”
Cops are asking anyone with information about the incident to call its Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or log on to crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
